“SRIGURU TRUST” had taken a few initiatives in the form of conducting different need-based programme on Environmental awareness to create a healthy environment in its targeted area. A program was conducted in Cuttack, Kandhamal, Koraput, Kendrapara district where a total nos. of 70 participants was participated from different villages and 2 nos. of resource persons were facilitated the programme.
During the programme there was a brief discussion on different topics generally on:
• Pollution remains a major challenge for our Society.
• These environmental issues are one of the primary causes of disease,
health issues and long-term livelihood impact for our Society.
• Increase public awareness about environmental issues, explore possible
solutions.
• Active participation of individual in the protection of environment and
the prudent and rational use of natural resources.
• The way in which each individual can, by his own behaviour and action,
contribute to the protection of environment and improve management
of environment and provide satisfactory solutions to environmental
issues.
